Mean Girls Script

Cady: Both of my parents are research zoologists and we've spent the last years in Africa. I had a great life. But then my mom got offered tenure at Northwestern University. So it was goodbye Africa and hello high school.

Teacher: I just wanted to let everyone know that we have a new student joining us. She just moved here all the way from Africa.

Cady: The first day of school was a blur.  A stressful, surreal blur. I had a lot of friends in Africa. But so far, none in Evanston.

At lunch.

Regina: OK, you should just know that we don't do this a lot, so this is, like, a really huge deal. We wanna invite you to have lunch with us every day for the rest of the week.

In maths class.

Aaron: Hey, do you have a pencil I can borrow?

Cady’s inner voice: I've only had one other crush in my life. His name was Nfume, and we were. It didn't work out. But this one hit me like a big, yellow school bus. He is so gorgeous and so cute. But there was one problem……

Gretchin: So have you seen any guys that you think are cute yet?

Cady: Well, there's this guy in my calculus class...

Gretchin: Who is it?

Cady points out to Aaron (Shahed)

Gretchin: Oh, no, you can't like Aaron Samuels.

Gretchin: That's Regina's ex-boyfriend. They went out for a year. candy looks confused.. Yeah, and then she was devastated when he broke up with her last summer. I think she dumped him for Shane Oman. OK, irregardless. Ex-boyfriends are just off-limits to friends.

Regina seems sweet. Regina George is nowhere near sweet. She’s fabulous but she’s evil.
